There are nine key tasks that must be accomplished in 2019-20 to restructure Viet Nam’s economy, according to the Minister of Planning and Industry Nguyen Chi Dung.
National Assembly (NA) deputies at a discussion on Friday afternoon largely agreed that the Ministry of Finance should be the focal-point agency to manage public debts to prevent management overlaps and inconsistencies.
The Ministry of Finance plans to issue an additional US$1 billion worth
of ten-year government bonds for the international market to restructure
public debts.
